A previously unfinished utility room is now a laundry zone with purpose. We reconfigured the footprint—shifting the main doorway and adding a pocket door—to carve out a finished laundry room and upgraded mechanical space, all without wasting a single square inch

Originally planned with IKEA cabinets, the design pivoted to custom millwork when supply issues and modifications proved too clunky. The result? Tall, deep storage for laundry baskets and board games, sleek counters for folding and function, and a plumbing cleanout hidden so well you’d never know it was there.

Soft-touch white cabinets resist fingerprints and pair with anthracite counters and matte black pulls. Scandi-look plank floors ground the space, while floating shelves, cheeky art, and a glam little light fixture keep things stylish—even when you’re washing socks.
