EMERALD GREEN
with ENVY
The bold and beautiful emerald green paint chip was brought by the client to our very first design meeting.
This '90s builder kitchen off Conroy Rd in Ottawa started with an awkwardly angled structural wall here, a floating half wall there...
So we cleared the obstacles and united the kitchen with the adjacent TV room to create one fluid, family-focused space.

Top row of cabinets have flip up doors & are accessible via a custom ladder system.
The sink was moved from the back wall to the island, and the awkward window deleted, to make way for an improved work area with increased storage surrounding the cooking area and refrigerator.
A spacious appliance garage now hides countertop chaos. It even includes a relay switch that cuts power when the doors are shut (thanks, Ontario Building Code).
The large island with farmhouse sink offer plenty of space for prep, clean up, and catching up on school work or the events of the day.
